Creative re-use of rubbish
We received 54 amazing upcycled decorations/crafts which were used to create the virtual upcycled Christmas tree mosaic 2020.
We thank all the contributors of upcycled decoration including Ladies College Colombo (Environmental Society), Leo Club of University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Leo Club of Werahera, Leo Club of Papiliyana Woodlands and Leo Club of Kalubowila.
Upcycling, also known as creative Reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless or unwanted products into new materials or products perceived to be of greater quality or importance.
